Dorli Satterwhite’s conversational Hebrew curriculum, Hebrew All Around, is a well thought out series of lessons introducing key Hebrew vocabulary and phrases to students. I had the pleasure of using part of her Year 2 curriculum for the second half of our religious school year last year. The lesson plans are easy to follow, and Dorli provides ample ready-to-use resources. While the curriculum is designed for hour long in-person classes, I was able to adapt the materials for my 45 minutes virtual classes. I used the curriculum over 10-12 weeks, and used all or part of lessons 1-3. The students enjoyed the curriculum, and were just beginning to use the vocabulary and dialogue on their own when the school year concluded. While homework was not required, I would occasionally provide resources for students to practice with their families at home.

I would be happy to teach Dorli’s Hebrew All Around curriculum again if asked to do so.
